2011 New York Sharks Vs DC Divas
Some teams have a storied rivalry and the battles between the New York Sharks and The D.C. Divas is almost legendary!
In this 2011 game which was a must win for both ladies football teams, The Divas traveled northward to Brooklyn's Aviator field for the smack down match. In the seasons where either of the teams is doing superb they almost always seem to have to meet in a pivotal game where the winner takes all. While many of the faces have changed the flavor of rivalry remains the same.
The Divas arrived fresh and frisky from their road trip and ready for a robust contest, they hit the ground running and didn't look behind. The Sharks stepped up to the plate with everything the mostly young team had but they were out manned by the Divas.
