The Lakeland Regional High School Lancers sally forth to do do battle with Teaneck's Highwaymen. Both teams have players capable of being real play makers and both troops have a solid grasp of the fundamentals .

Earlier in the day we took a look at Lakeland's freshmen pups and it was clear to see that this institution nurses these players steel and stone from the ground up. That rugged rough edge seen in the varsity players was also evident in the freshmen. The varsity O-line are not behemoths but they're sizeable enough and solid enough to carry the loads . They've also got some receivers who are nimble and pesky enough to give any defense concerns.

The Highwaymwen, for whatever reason, almost always come to their greatness through adversity but when things click for them there's no shutting them down. In the interim, these blue road warriors continue to display tons of speed and talent.
